Excitement for next semester!

Hey UoG Micro!  Hope you’ve all had a fantastic semester, and that you’re getting ready to buckle down for the home stretch until winter break!  I know I’m looking forward to it for sure!

A few announcements were made at last night’s Micro Club meeting, so here’s what you missed if you couldn’t make it (or here’s a recap if you were there ;] ):

• The CBS is planning on filming a lipdub video to “Walk the Moon” by Anna Sun.  They’re looking for a ton of people (yes, that does include you!) to be in the video lip syncing and dancing.  Every major in CBS will be taking part, so this is a great opportunity to show your Micro and BSc pride!  Filming will commence on January 11th at 3:00 pm.  Stay tuned for more details!
• College Royal is coming!  That’s right, it’s just about that time of year again, and the Micro Club is looking for some gold!  We are planning on getting together early next semester to discuss ideas to submit to the MCB Chair for approval, so stay tuned!
• Dr. Wood will be hosting a graduate school info session early next semester (likely in the 2nd week of January).  Whether you’re starting to get serious about applying (fourth and fifth years, do ya feel the heat yet?), or you’re just curious about what it’s all about and how it works, it is a fantastic session to attend!
